Susan Bennett is the original voice of “Siri” and her story is INCREDIBLE!

In July 2005, Susan recorded everything for Siri at her house for a text-to-speech company called Nuance, which does a lot of GPS voices. As a voice actor, Susan did not know exactly how her voice would be used but assumed it would be employed in company phone systems. Then in October 2011, Apple released its new iPhone 4S…and her life (and career) changed forever.

How did she find out she was the voice of Siri? Did she get compensated for being Siri? And does she play any practical jokes on people in public with her voice?

This woman truly has the most recognizable voice in the world.
