Ken Gober has been in the music industry most of his adult life as a professional musician, singer, and songwriter. In 2008, his debut solo album “Soul of a Man: The Journey” won him Best New Male Gospel Artist at the Black Music Awards in Las Vegas. 

As you will hear, Ken has some great stories to share from early in his career performing on cruise ships and the Vegas strip to his humbling journey of playing college football but ending up in drug rehab. 

Also, Ken shares a very powerful story about writing his new single called “Either Way”. He wrote this song about a close friend who had been given a terminal diagnosis. However, this song became an inspiration for his own family just weeks later when his mother was given a few days to live.
