Here is part 2 of an INCREDIBLE conversation with Damon West, co-author with Jon Gordon of the Wall Street Journal best-selling book, The Coffee Bean: A simple Lesson to Create Positive Change.
At 20 years old, Damon West was a Division 1 starting quarterback at the University of North Texas, when he suffered a career-ending injury. Unfortunately, Damon turned to hard-core drugs to cope with life’s disappointments. After graduation, he worked in Congress, was a national fundraiser on a U.S. Presidential campaign, and eventually trained to be a stockbroker for UBS. One day at UBS, he was introduced to meth and was instantly hooked.
Damon’s drug addiction led him to a life sentence in prison.
How did he get out of prison early? What did it feel like to walk out as a free man? What new technology blew his mind? And how did he become best friends will all these famous people like Ed Mylett, Jon Gordon, and Dabo Sweeney?
