In 1989 a little show called American Gladiators took off, it was a competitive television show that lasted for seven seasons and the premise was quite simple. They would pit amateur athletes against one another and against professional gladiators in competitions of agility and strength. At the end of each season there would be a male and female winner and a runner up, the winners walking away with monetary prizes.

Our guest this week is Lori Fetrick who starred as the Gladiator ‘Ice’ in the ‘90s hit show. Fetrick shares some interesting stories about her time on the show – what the Gladiators were actually like behind the scenes and not just when the cameras were rolling, how much money they made per episode (which is shocking), and gives some breaking news about a new American Gladiators project she recently signed on to do.

Please enjoy this episode of Tell Us a Good Story and we’ll see you next time!
