Yolanda Harris co-anchors the 5, 6 and 11 p.m. newscasts at WBNS-10TV after spending over 20 years at WSYX-ABC 6 and WTTE-Fox 28. During her career, she has won an Emmy award for “Best Entertainment Program” in 2005, been voted “Favorite News Personality” and “Best Female Anchor” in Columbus. On a smaller scale, she’s also on the Hall of Fame in her alma mater, Gahanna Lincoln High School.
Having grown up in Central Ohio, Yolanda considers it a privilege to grow her career in her hometown.
As you will hear, Yolanda has a very fun and engaging personality that makes it sound as if Kevin and Steph have been friends with her for years! She shares some hilarious behind the scenes stories about being a news personality during this conversation such as being part of live TV bloopers, bad news tips shared to 10TV by viewers, and how to hide your personal items from people when shopping in public.
