Ruben Gonzalez is a four-time Olympian who has competed in the luge in four different decades! As a child, Ruben was not a gifted athlete and did not take up the sport of luge until he was 21. Against all odds, four years later he was competing at the Winter Olympics in Calgary. At the age of 47, he was competing against 20-year-olds in the Vancouver Olympics. At age 55, after a seven-year break, Ruben became the oldest person to compete internationally in the sport of luge. He is also currently training for the 2026 Winter Games, which would be a record FIFTH Olympics!

Competing in the luge is just one thing that Ruben does as he is an adrenaline junky. In addition to sliding down the hill (with no brakes), he has also run with the bulls multiple times in Pamplona, Spain! How does he stay safe from the bulls? Ruben has many hilarious stories to share in this episode. What does his wife think of him training for another Olympics?
