In this episode, Kevin and Steph talk with Hall of Fame basketball player, Melvin Adams. After retiring in 2000’s, the former Harlem Globetrotter dedicated his life to a professional speaking career focused on helping America’s youth. Since he started, Adams has spoken to thousands of kids in school assemblies and events all over the United States!

Adam’s had a hard childhood, after his father died and their family suffered financially, Adam’s turned to sports as his sanctuary. He spent hours practicing and perfecting his game so when his time came, he was ready to win.

As you will hear, Melvin Adams has a big personality and a lot to say about his days playing basketball and his time speaking with kids! From the many interesting stories he shares on this episode, one of Kevin and Steph’s favorite stories ever is when Melvin made one hundred thousand on the Oprah show.
